P0848: Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch B Circuit High
What to do
Ask for the internal connector to be inspected as well as the sensor. If shifts have become harsh at the same time, the high reading may be genuine rather than electrical.
What this code means
The second pressure sensor circuit reads above its valid range — an open circuit or a short to supply. On a sensor inside the transmission, a connector corroded by fluid ingress reads identically to a broken wire and is more likely.
