Do not keep driving

Stop using the vehicle and have it recovered. An intermittent interlock can cut all drive without warning while you are moving, which is why this is not a fault to keep an eye on. Note exactly when it happens — over bumps, cold mornings, after rain, on one particular corner — because that pattern is the diagnosis and the car will very likely behave perfectly once it is standing in a workshop. Mention any recent repairs, since a connector disturbed and not properly latched is the usual cause.

What this code means

The interlock loop is opening and closing unpredictably rather than failing cleanly, which is arguably worse than an outright break.

An intermittent interlock means the pack disconnects itself without warning, so the vehicle can lose all traction power while moving. On a hybrid that is a genuine hazard rather than an inconvenience: power steering and brake assistance are usually retained on these vehicles, but a sudden and complete loss of drive in traffic is dangerous regardless.

Vibration is the usual trigger, which points at a connector that is seated but not latched, or a pin that has lost its retention. Both are the sort of thing left behind by previous work — and both will very likely test perfectly on a stationary car, which is why this code is worth more than any measurement taken in a workshop.

The pattern is the diagnosis and the driver is the only person who can supply it. Over bumps, on a particular corner, only when cold, only after a car wash — each points somewhere different, and none of it can be observed by somebody who was not there.
