The car will drive. Charging may be much slower at three-phase charge points while remaining normal at home, which is the signature of this fault rather than of a tired battery or a bad charger. Note where it is slow and by how much.

What this code means

The circuit for one of the charger's input voltage sensors is faulty.

Three sensors watching the charger's alternating-current input is not redundancy — it is almost certainly three phases.

A domestic supply has one live conductor. A three-phase supply has three, and much of the world's public and commercial charging is three-phase, because it delivers three times the power through conductors of the same size. A charger able to use it must measure each phase separately.

Which gives these codes an unusually specific diagnostic value: they name a phase. A fault on sensor B alone points at one leg of the supply — one conductor of the cable, one pin in the inlet, one branch of the installation — and that is a far smaller thing to inspect than "the charging system".

It also explains a complaint that otherwise makes no sense: a car that charges at full speed from one three-phase point and at a third of the rate from another. A charger that cannot verify one phase will not use it, so it falls back to single-phase charging and the driver sees a rate that has inexplicably collapsed at some chargers and not others.

So the test is not "does it charge" but "how fast, and where". A clean fall to a third of the expected rate on a three-phase point is close to diagnostic.
