P2295: Fuel Pressure Regulator B Control Circuit Low
What to do
Expect reduced power and rough running. Ask for the valve's winding resistance to be measured at the connector as well as the wiring checked — an internal short and a damaged wire give the same code.
What this code means
The second regulator's control circuit reads below its valid range, normally a short to ground. The module shuts its output driver down rather than continue feeding a short, so the valve stops responding and pressure defaults to whatever the mechanical arrangement gives.
A solenoid winding shorted internally produces this without any wiring fault, and measuring the winding's resistance at the valve separates the two before a harness is chased.
