Isuzu Rodeo
The body-on-frame SUV sold in enormous numbers in North America and, rebadged, as the Honda Passport — so Passport information describes it exactly, which is the useful cross-reference since more was written under that badge. The 3.2 and 3.5 V6s are the engines most carry, and the fault that defines them is the timing belt: it is an interference design, and the tensioner and idler pulleys are as consequential as the belt itself, so a belt replacement that reuses them is a repeat failure waiting to happen. The other recurring item is the crankshaft position sensor behind the crank pulley, whose failure produces an intermittent stall that clears when cool.
