Mitsubishi Outlander
The mid-size SUV, and the most diagnostically interesting car in the range because two versions of it are entirely different machines. The plug-in hybrid has no conventional gearbox, drives its wheels through two motors, and runs its engine as a generator much of the time — so the hybrid and charging code blocks apply to it in full, while the petrol version is a conventional crossover with a CVT. Establish which before reading anything.
