Stop if the engine light is flashing. If codes are stored for more than one coil, say so before any parts are agreed — several coils failing at once is unlikely, and a shared supply, ground or a failing driver stage in the module is both more probable and far cheaper than a set of coils.
Wat deze code betekent

By the fifth coil in a block it is worth stating the shared-cause argument explicitly, because this is where it starts to matter. The module drives each coil through its own output transistor, but those transistors sit in one module, fed by one supply and referenced to one ground. So:
- Several coil codes stored together are far more likely to be one shared fault than several failed coils. A supply, a fuse, a ground, or a module whose output stage is failing.
- A coil code that persists after the coil has been swapped to another cylinder — and does not follow it — is naming the wiring or the driver, exactly as P0351's swap test is designed to reveal.
The corpus makes this argument in every block that has one: a shared reference at P0641, a system supply at P0562, a module supply at P0882, a solenoid driver at P0964, an injector group supply at P2146. Ignition is simply another instance, and the cost of getting it wrong here is a set of coils.
