Tata Curvv

A Nexon underneath a different roofline. The Curvv is a coupé-bodied SUV on Tata's ATLAS architecture, sharing its engine range and most of its electrical architecture with the Nexon while sitting on a longer wheelbase. A code list, a connector location or a module part number found under one badge is usually right for the other, which is worth knowing because the Curvv is new enough that little has been written about it specifically.

Four powertrains under one name, and two of them are 1.2 petrols. The Revotron turbo makes 118 hp and 170 Nm; the direct-injection Hyperion makes 123 hp and 225 Nm from the same displacement. Reading a fuelling or boost complaint against the wrong one of those sends the diagnosis to a different injection system entirely — port against direct — so establish which is fitted before touching fuel-trim data.

The battery-electric Curvv is a different vehicle below the floor. It uses Tata's acti.ev platform rather than ATLAS, so the high-voltage layout, the thermal circuit and the charging hardware have nothing in common with the combustion cars that share the badge. Treat any orange-cable work on it as its own subject.
