Peugeot 208

The supermini that replaced the 207, and the highest-volume Peugeot in Europe — the single clearest gap this catalogue had. Two facts change its diagnosis before anything else. The first-generation 1.2 PureTech's wet timing belt runs in oil and degrades into the sump, where the debris blocks the oil pump pickup: it presents as low oil pressure or a timing-correlation code on an engine with no external symptom, and it is the defining fault of the whole PureTech family. The second car adds a battery-electric e-208 on CMP, which shares the body and none of the powertrain.
