Exhaust heat damage to sensor harness
Sensor leads cooked where they run past the exhaust, most often on oxygen and temperature sensors mounted in it. The lead fails before the sensor does, so a sensor condemned on a reading taken back at the module may be perfectly good at its own connector.
Typically a moderate job.
