What to do
Driveable. Braking will always cancel cruise control regardless of this fault, but do not leave it unrepaired, and avoid using cruise control until it is.
What this code means
A fault in the signal that switches cruise control off. Worth taking seriously despite the low severity, because a system that cannot be told to disengage by its own switch is relying on the brake pedal and the clutch as its only means of cancelling.
Those redundant paths do work — cruise control is designed so that braking always disengages it — but the switch should be repaired rather than relied upon to fail safely.
