Cruise Control Switch
The stalk or steering wheel buttons that operate cruise control. Most designs put several functions on one wire, each button applying a different resistance so the module distinguishes them by voltage — efficient, but it means one failure disables every cruise function at once. Water ingress is a common cause because it changes the resistance of the whole ladder, and on steering wheel packs the signals pass through the clock spring, a rotating joint that wears and takes the horn and audio controls with it when it fails.
