Cause
Faulty clock spring in steering wheel
The coiled ribbon carrying circuits into a wheel that turns — airbag, horn, controls, steering angle. Several unrelated things stopping working together points here, and because the airbag circuit runs through it, the lamp is often the first sign. Its failure also wipes the steering angle zero, so a stability warning can arrive with it.
Typically specialist work. Needs equipment or training most home workshops do not have.
