What this code means
The rotor position signal is dropping out and returning — moments of lost angle in an otherwise working circuit.
Each dropout is a brief blindness: torque stumbles, the car may lurch or the drive may cut and return. Intermittency convicts the harness as usual, and the transaxle run's exposure to vibration makes engine and road movement the classic triggers. A fault that appears over bumps or under hard acceleration and vanishes at rest belongs to a chafed or loose section until inspection proves otherwise.
