What this code means
The second battery cooling fan is commanded on and not delivering — not turning, or turning too slowly to move its share of air.
P0A82's verdict applies: with the circuit intact, the machine's problem is nearly always dirt, and cleaning precedes replacement. The multi-fan note from P0A96 applies too — the pack may cope in mild weather and cook in traffic on a hot day, which makes this the family's urgent variant despite the car driving normally.
