What to do
The code says three speed readings disagree; it does not say which is wrong. Most often one sensor is at fault, which is the cheap answer — but the alternative is wear or damage inside the planetary gearset, so ask which was established rather than assumed. If there is any new noise, vibration or a change in how the car pulls away, mention it: that shifts the odds toward the mechanical branch.
What this code means
The module's internal check on engine, motor and generator speeds has failed.
This is the mechanical twin of the current-sum check at P0BFD, and it is just as elegant. On a power-split hybrid the engine, the generator and the drive motor are not independent machines that happen to share a car — they are joined by a planetary gearset, which means their three speeds are locked together by a fixed equation. Given any two, the third is determined. There is no freedom in it.
So the module can audit its own speed measurements continuously and for free, exactly as it audits its phase currents: it checks that the three speeds satisfy the relationship the gearbox physically imposes. If they do not, something is wrong — and no amount of each sensor looking healthy on its own will make the sum come right.
What it cannot say is which. Like every correlation check in this corpus it reports a disagreement rather than a verdict, and the possibilities split into two very different groups. Either one of the three speed measurements is lying — the cheap branch — or the gearset itself is no longer holding the relationship, which means something mechanical has slipped, worn or broken inside it. That second branch is rare and serious, and it is the reason this code should not be dismissed as a sensor fault before the sensors have actually been checked.
