The pump often matters most after you have parked, carrying heat out of the motor — and a motor repeatedly left to soak can lose magnet strength permanently. Check the level in the motor's cooling circuit, which is a separate reservoir from the engine's and from the electronics loop.

The circuit commanding drive motor A's coolant pump is open or faulty.
The motor's own cooling circuit is described at P0CBC. What matters about its pump is when it runs: hardest when the motor has been worked hardest, and often for a period after the car is switched off, carrying heat out of a machine that would otherwise soak it into its own bearings and magnets.
Permanent magnets are the reason that after-run matters more here than elsewhere. They lose strength if taken far enough above their rated temperature, and unlike most heat damage that loss does not come back when things cool down. A pump that never runs is not merely inefficient; over time it costs the motor some of what makes it a motor.
