P2026: Evaporative Emission Fuel Vapour Temperature Sensor Circuit Low Voltage
What to do
No driveability effect; the consequence is at an emissions test. Ask for the underfloor wiring to be inspected as well as the sensor.
What this code means
The fuel vapour temperature circuit reads below its valid range, normally a short to ground. Because the sensor sits at or near the fuel tank, its harness runs along the underside of the vehicle where road salt, stone damage and water all reach it — so a chafed wire against the floorpan is a leading cause and is found by inspection rather than by testing at the module.
