P2069: Fuel Level Sensor B Circuit Intermittent
What to do
Note what triggers the jumps — bumps point at the connector, cornering and braking point at the sender's worn track. That one observation halves the diagnosis.
What this code means
Sender B's signal is cutting in and out — a needle that jumps or a reading that drops out over bumps, which is the harness and tank-top connector talking. One mechanical caveat before the wiring is blamed: a worn track sender produces exactly this as the float bounces across its dead spot, so the fault that appears on rough roads can be inside the sender after all. The distinguishing question is whether fuel sloshing (corners, braking) triggers it — sloshing moves the float, not the harness.
