What to do
Expect a group of systems to have stopped working together, and expect the battery to go flat if the car stands.
Disconnect the battery if the car is waiting for repair — a broken network means some computers never get the message to go to sleep, so they stay awake and drain it. Charging it without fixing the wiring changes nothing.
One broken wire causes all of this. Do not let computers be replaced on the strength of the fault list.
When the break is found, ask for the second wire to be inspected along the same stretch, and for a damaged length of loom to be replaced rather than one wire spliced.
One reassurance about cost. The garage needs the wiring diagram to identify this network at all — and the same diagram shows its route and its ends. So that is not an extra charge; it is the step that makes everything after it meaningful.

The negative line of vehicle communication bus D is open circuit. Everything at U0057 applies, including that a broken network cannot negotiate sleep — so expect a flat battery alongside the obvious symptoms, and disconnect the battery if the vehicle is standing.
U0006's instruction is the one to carry: inspect the partner conductor along the same length wherever a break is found, and replace a damaged section of loom rather than splicing a single wire.
One note on the economics, since a lettered bus needs a wiring diagram to identify at all. The same diagram gives the backbone's route and the position of its terminators, so obtaining it is not an additional cost — it is the step that makes every subsequent measurement mean something, and a diagnosis that skips it is measuring a network it has not located.
