Lexus RX

The SUV that carries most of Lexus's volume, and the nameplate where the make's hybrid history begins — the RX 400h was among the first hybrid SUVs anywhere. That matters diagnostically because it is a Toyota Hybrid System car: the inverter, the transaxle with two motor-generators, and the traction battery are the same architecture as a Prius of its year, so the corpus's hybrid-block codes and Toyota's community knowledge both apply directly.
