Chevrolet Suburban
The long-wheelbase full-size SUV, and mechanically a Tahoe with more length behind the rear axle — Tahoe information covers the powertrain completely and the Suburban-specific part is the rear suspension load, the longer exhaust and the extra body electrics. The small-block V8s here use Active Fuel Management, which shuts down cylinders under light load, and its lifters are the standing fault: a collapsed AFM lifter sets a misfire code on a specific cylinder and is an engine-out repair rather than a coil.
