Suzuki Vitara

The nameplate spans two entirely different vehicles, and confusing them sends a diagnosis to the wrong car: the older Grand Vitara is a ladder-frame four-wheel drive with a transfer case, while the current Vitara is a monocoque crossover on the Swift's platform. Establish which before assuming anything about the drivetrain codes.
