What this code means
The bank 2 intake camshaft is sitting retarded of its commanded position. Which way a phaser drifts when control is lost depends largely on where its return spring and locking pin leave it, not on a different underlying fault — so the diagnosis is the same as for the over-advanced case, and the two codes should not be read as pointing at different parts.
