Stretched timing chain
A chain whose wear has let the camshafts fall behind the crankshaft. It sets a correlation code with both position sensors working perfectly, which is the trap: the code names the sensors and the fault is mechanical.
Oil condition and level drive chain and tensioner wear directly, so a poor service history is evidence.
Typically specialist work. Needs equipment or training most home workshops do not have.
