Expect poor economy, possibly a smell of fuel. Worth prompt attention, as sustained rich running damages the catalytic converter.
What this code means
The upstream bank 1 sensor is reporting persistently high voltage, indicating a rich mixture — or a short to a voltage supply. As with the low-voltage case, establish whether the reading is honest before condemning the sensor: leaking injectors, excessive fuel pressure or a saturated charcoal canister all produce a genuinely rich exhaust that a healthy sensor will faithfully report.
