What to do
Driveable. Expect a noisy fan and a slower warm-up. Not urgent for the engine.
What this code means
Fan speed is above the commanded value. Closely related to the overspeed fault and usually the same set of causes — a control circuit that has lost authority, or a speed feedback signal reading incorrectly.
Worth confirming which of the two it is before replacing anything, because a fan genuinely running flat out and a fan merely reporting that it is have entirely different repairs.
