What to do
Driveable, but watch the temperature gauge in traffic until the fan is confirmed working. A visual check that the fan actually spins when the engine is hot settles it quickly.
What this code means
A circuit fault on the cooling fan speed feedback signal. Variable-speed fans report their actual speed so the module can verify the fan is doing what it was told, and without that feedback the module cannot distinguish a working fan from a seized one.
The practical risk is a fan that has genuinely failed while the module believes it is running, so this is worth treating as a cooling fault rather than a sensor inconvenience.
