Cause
Failed cooling fan motor
The motor itself, as opposed to the relay or the control that switches it. Worth checking after the relay and the fuse, both of which are cheaper and fail more often — though a motor drawing too much current as its brushes wear will keep destroying the relay it is blamed on.
Typically a moderate job.
