P0528: Fan Speed Sensor Circuit No Signal
What to do
Confirm the fan actually spins when the engine is hot. If it does not, watch the temperature gauge closely and avoid stationary traffic until it is repaired.
What this code means
No fan speed signal at all. Either the feedback circuit is open, or the fan genuinely is not turning — and those need separating quickly, because one is a wiring repair and the other means the engine has lost its cooling in traffic.
A visual check with the engine hot and the air conditioning on settles it in seconds and should come before any electrical testing.
