What this code means
A fault in the circuit driving the charging warning lamp itself, as distinct from the alternator's excitation terminal. The consequence is a warning light that may not illuminate when it should — which matters precisely because it removes the driver's warning of a charging failure.
A warning system that cannot warn is a fault worth fixing even though nothing else changes.
