Failed instrument cluster
The cluster is a module on the network, not just a set of dials — it relays signals other modules depend on. The odometer usually lives in it, so a replacement needs the mileage transferred, which is a legal matter to settle before the work rather than after.
Typically specialist work. Needs equipment or training most home workshops do not have.
