What to do

What this code means
The DC-DC converter status circuit reads above its valid range — an open circuit, a short to supply, or a converter reporting an output above what the twelve-volt system should see.
Overvoltage is the less forgiving direction. Where an undersupplied system runs down gracefully, sustained overvoltage damages electronics permanently, boils the twelve-volt battery and shortens the life of every module and lamp on the vehicle. A hybrid warning is simply where it happened to be noticed, and treating it as a hybrid problem misses a fault that is currently damaging the whole car.

Note where this code sits. The converter's status family runs P0A08, P0A09 and then jumps here to P0A10 — the numbers between are the high-voltage interlock circuit, an unrelated safety system. That discontinuity is real and is a place a reader is easily misled: a code in the P0A0A–P0A0E span is not a converter fault, whatever its neighbours suggest.
