If this motor drives your rear axle, treat all-wheel drive as unavailable while the code is stored. Underfloor harness inspection first — it is the exposed half of this circuit.
What this code means
The second drive motor's position sensor circuit has failed.
The whole P0A3F picture transfers — the resolver as the motor's crank sensor, the binary loss of drive, the lopsided economics of an internal sensor versus an external harness. What motor B adds is its location: on electrically driven rear axles the harness runs under the car, so road damage joins chafing at the top of the causes, and the consequence of failure is all-wheel drive quietly disappearing rather than the car stopping.
