The riskier direction — the gauge may overstate what is in the tank. Fill by mileage, not by needle, until it is fixed.
What this code means
Sender B's circuit reads at the top of its range — the mirror of P2067, and on many wiring conventions the full direction, which makes it the more dangerous lie: a gauge overstating fuel is how tanks run dry with the needle above empty.
