P2139: Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch D/F Voltage Correlation
Do not keep driving
Ask which correlation pairs are faulted, and mention any wet footwell history. Between them, those two pieces of information usually settle whether this is a sensor, a supply, or water.
What this code means
Position sensors D and F disagree. The pedal-specific reasoning under P2138 applies — shared connector, shared environment, water as a common cause — and the three-way narrowing under P2136 applies to which pairs are failing.
On a three-sensor pedal the combination is unusually informative: D/E and D/F both failing while E/F passes identifies D, and all three failing points at the supply or the connector they share rather than at any sensor.
