What to do
Often nothing to feel. Ask whether there is oil inside the connector — these solenoids sit in oil and it creeps along the wires into the plug, which looks identical to a broken wire. Cleaning the plug alone is not enough in that case, because the oil keeps arriving.
What this code means
The A rocker arm actuator control circuit on bank 1 reads above its valid range — an open circuit, a disconnected connector, or a short to supply.
These solenoids sit on or near the cylinder head, in oil, and a connector living in that environment fails in a characteristic way: oil wicks along the wire strands into the plug and insulates the terminals, which looks exactly like a broken wire. If oil is found in the connector, the fault is not only the connector — the wiring behind it needs attention too, or it returns.
