Buick Regal

Two unrelated cars, thirteen years apart, and the badge is all they share. The 2010-2020 Regal is an Opel Insignia with a different badge — same platform, same engines, same faults — which matters because the European Insignia population is enormous and the Buick one is not, so the Insignia's known faults are the better place to look. The 1997-2004 car is a GM W-body with the 3800 Series II V6, and its defining fault is its own: the plastic upper intake manifold cracks at the EGR port and puts coolant where it does not belong.
