The car is down until this is resolved and the cause is found — insist the workshop identifies why it blew before fitting a replacement, or you will pay for the same failure twice. The fuse lives in the high-voltage system, often inside the battery itself: this is qualified-workshop territory with no exceptions.
Wat deze code betekent
The high-voltage system's main fuse circuit is reporting a fault — on most vehicles, that the fuse has blown and the battery can no longer feed the car.
A fuse is a message, not a malfunction. It blew because current exceeded what the system is built to carry, and that current went somewhere: a short in a phase cable, insulation broken down in a motor, a failed switching stage in the inverter, crash damage, or — the case that embarrasses everyone — a tool dropped across terminals during earlier repair work. Replacing the fuse without finding the reason buys a second bang at the moment the fault repeats.
Two practical notes. The fuse frequently lives inside the battery pack, often integrated with the service plug assembly — so on many vehicles the "fuse" is a pack-opening job with everything that implies about qualification. And the presentation is total: no READY, no drive, an engine that may not even crank on full hybrids, because the pack behind the fuse is what does the cranking.
