P0AFF: Tensão do sistema muito baixa para a conversão abaixadora
O que fazer
A hybrid dead on both systems will not jump start the way a conventional car does — the twelve-volt jump wakes the electronics, but recovery of the main pack is dealer-level on many vehicles. Volunteer any long-parking or run-out-of-fuel history; it is usually the whole story.
O que este código significa
The input to the step-down conversion has fallen below the minimum the DC-DC converter can work from — the twelve-volt system's supply line, cut off at its source.
The last code in the hybrid block closes its oldest loop: the converter that P0A08 introduced cannot make fourteen volts from an input beneath its floor, so a collapsed pack takes the twelve-volt system down with it — and with the twelve-volt system go the contactors, the modules, and the ability to restart. This is the mechanism behind the block's most repeated warning: the high-voltage and low-voltage systems need each other to wake, and a car that has lost both is a recovery, not a jump start.
As at P0AFE, this is a consequence stamp — the cause lives in the state-of-charge and deterioration families, and the storage and run-dry questions of P0A7D apply.
