Chevrolet Spark
The city car, and the direct descendant of the Daewoo Matiz — early cars carry Daewoo part numbers and Daewoo service information, which is where to look for anything before about 2010. Mechanically among the simplest cars here: a naturally aspirated three- or four-cylinder with port injection, no turbocharger and a four-speed automatic or a CVT at most. Its faults are age and neglect rather than design — ignition coils, crank sensors and earth points account for most of what it sets codes about.
