Infiniti Q45
Infiniti's rear-drive flagship, and in Japan the Nissan President and Cima — the same cars, which is where the deeper documentation for the later ones is. The first generation is the interesting one to identify: it uses the VH45DE, a 4.5 V8 fitted to almost nothing else, and offered full active suspension as an option — a hydraulic system with its own high-pressure pump and accumulators whose faults look nothing like a conventional damper's and whose parts are effectively unobtainable. Later cars move to the VK45DE and to conventional air or coil suspension.

A rebadged Nissan Cima, and the smallest-engined Q45 — the 4.1 VH41DE. Shares much of its structure with the contemporary Nissan Leopard.
