Cause
Low refrigerant charge
Not enough refrigerant for the system to work, and always a leak — refrigerant is not consumed. The module refuses to engage the compressor below a pressure threshold, to protect it from running without the oil the refrigerant carries, so the symptom is no cold air and no compressor rather than weak cooling. A regas without finding the leak is a temporary purchase.
