P0532: Air Conditioning Refrigerant Pressure Sensor A Circuit Low
What to do
Driveable with no air conditioning. Have the system pressure measured rather than the sensor replaced blind — an empty system means a leak.
What this code means
The refrigerant pressure signal is below its plausible range. As with oil pressure, the reading and the circuit fault are hard to separate from the code alone — a short to ground and a system that has lost its entire charge both read low.
Gauge the system rather than assume. A refrigerant system at atmospheric pressure has a leak that needs finding, and simply replacing the sensor achieves nothing.
