O que fazer
Expect missing or refused gears rather than total failure — the box is declining to use gears it cannot confirm. Driving on briefly is usually safe in the gears it still offers, but have it diagnosed soon: what starts as a sensor reading can also be the first sign of a fork or synchroniser wearing, and those get more expensive with every hard shift.
O que este código significa
Shift fork D is stuck — commanded to move, and not moving.
A stuck fork is mechanical: the actuator pushes and the rail does not move. Forks stick when the sleeve and gear teeth land point-to-point and jam under load, when a synchroniser worn past its job lets teeth clash and bind, when a fork bent by an earlier abuse drags on its rail, or when debris in the fluid wedges the mechanism.
The module's response is to work around it — it retries, then abandons the gears on that rail and shifts around them. A dual-clutch may park one whole half of the box and drive on the other, which feels like odd gear spacing and doubled shifts rather than failure.
Do not confuse it with the actuator family. The actuator circuits have their own codes; this one says the electrical side did its work and the metal refused. That distinction is the difference between a wiring repair and opening the gearbox, so it is worth confirming with live data before any parts decision.
