Water dripping under the car in warm weather
A clear puddle under the middle of the car after a hot day with the air conditioning on, usually near the front passenger side. This is almost always condensate and is the air conditioning working, not leaking: cooling the cabin means pulling moisture out of the air, and that water has to go somewhere, so a drain runs it onto the road. On a humid day a running system can produce a surprising amount. What tells you it is something else is colour and feel — coolant is coloured and slightly slimy, oil is dark and greasy, screenwash smells. Clear, thin, odourless water is the one you can ignore.

What this usually means
This is almost always condensate and is the air conditioning working, not leaking. Cooling the cabin means pulling moisture out of the air, and that water has to go somewhere — so a drain runs it onto the road. On a humid day a running system can produce a surprising amount, which is what prompts the question.
Saying so plainly is the point, because the sight of liquid under a parked car is alarming and the assumption is a leak. A clear puddle under the middle of the car after a hot day with the air conditioning on, usually near the front passenger side, is the system doing exactly its job.
What tells you it is something else is colour and feel. Coolant is coloured and slightly slimy. Oil is dark and greasy. Screenwash smells. Clear, thin, odourless water is the one you can ignore — and a paper towel under the drip settles the question in a minute.
