What this code means
A control circuit fault for the third pressure control solenoid, the electrical counterpart to P0795. On a transmission with three independently metered pressure circuits — clutch-to-clutch shifting — a fault confined to one of them produces a narrow, specific complaint: one consistently bad gear change while everything else is untouched. That specificity is preserved whether the cause is electrical or hydraulic, which is why the code list rather than the symptom is what separates them.
