The car will charge normally; only the indicator is affected. Confirm charging through the car's app or dashboard until it is repaired.
What this code means
The circuit driving the charge status indicator is open.
This is the light that tells you the car is charging — usually on or near the charge port, sometimes on the dashboard, and often coloured or flashing to convey how far along the charge is.
Its whole purpose is to answer a question from ten feet away, in the dark, without unlocking the car or opening an app. That is a small thing until it stops working, at which point every charge needs verifying some other way, and the commonest outcome is somebody assuming a charge failed when it did not.
The standard defines a second charge status indicator, which is why this one carries a designator. The fault is an ordinary open circuit: the module's output driver, the wiring, or the lamp itself.
