U0043: Vehicle Communication Bus B (-) Low
What to do
Expect a group of systems to have stopped working together.
The fault is either a wire shorted to the bodywork, or a computer holding the network down by itself — see U0040.
One thing is worth understanding about the order in which those get investigated, because it protects you.
Finding a computer that is holding the network down means unplugging them one at a time until it recovers. That is the standard method — but on a modern car several computers need re-initialising after being disconnected. A steering angle sensor has to be re-zeroed, window motors re-taught their limits, and so on.
So the wiring should be eliminated thoroughly first, and disconnection started only after that. A workshop that starts by unplugging things on a well-equipped car can create a second set of faults while looking for the first, and those are real work to put right.
Which is why the free checks come first: unplug anything fitted to the car, move the loom by hand, inspect the connectors. Say what has been fitted and whether the fault came and went before becoming permanent.

One note belongs here and it concerns the order of that work.
