Que faire

The car drives normally. Expect one-touch windows, remote closing and automatic roof operation to stop working, with things moving only slowly while you hold the switch.

That restriction is deliberate and protective. This module supervises the system that stops a powered window or roof closing on someone's hand or arm. Without it, the car will not close anything unattended — which is exactly what you would want it to do.

If this started after a flat battery or a battery change, try re-initialising the windows and roof before paying for anything. This module's memory of how much effort each closure normally needs is erased by power loss, and restoring it is usually a matter of holding each switch through a full open and close. Your handbook gives the sequence, and it costs nothing.

Until it is fixed, take the loss of protection seriously — do not let children operate the windows, and watch what is in the opening when you close anything.

Ce que signifie ce code

The first entrapment control module has stopped being heard from. See U0200 for the block's framing.

"Entrapment" names exactly what this module exists to prevent: something — a hand, an arm, a child's neck — being caught by a powered closure. It supervises the obstruction detection on powered windows, sunroofs, tailgates and sliding doors, and it is a regulated safety function rather than a convenience feature.

The way to read this code correctly is that a closure which has stopped working is the system doing its job. With entrapment supervision unavailable, a vehicle will normally disable unattended closing altogether — no one-touch windows, no remote close, no automatic roof — and permit only slow travel while a switch is physically held, so a person is present and watching. That restriction is protection, not a second fault, and it is worth saying because the natural reading is that more things have broken.

The technical relationship to U0222 is worth making explicit. Individual window motors carry their own local anti-trap logic, because the decision has to be made in milliseconds. This module supervises and coordinates that — deciding when unattended closing is permitted at all, and on many vehicles handling the closures that do not have intelligent motors of their own. Losing it therefore removes the permission rather than the reflex.

The re-initialisation point from U0222 applies here with more force, because this module's picture of every closure's normal effort is exactly what a power loss erases. A vehicle that lost one-touch on everything after a battery change needs the closures re-initialised, and that is free.

Causes are the block's usual, with the door harness boot prominent since much of what this module supervises lives in doors.
